It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since Bryant and Jose redeployed to Heaven. I'm not sure I have any real words this year. What I do know however is that a day does not go by that I don't think of these men or their families.Yesterday I taught Care Team Training and it was hard not to wander back to that day. LaNita knows that I talk about our experience when I do the Care Team Training and normally I can leave most emotion out. While I didn't break down, I know that my mood was more somber than usual.
I made a promise to myself 5 years ago that I would do what I could to honor the legacy of these men and to never forget. Today I remember....everyday I remember and everyday I do my best to honor...
