These two events are like apples and oranges...wedding day was special for it's own reasons and was the beginning of the journey in our book of life...homecoming is a chapter of that book. Both intense, emotional and overwhelming but for many different reasons.

Honestly, there has never been a place we wanted to be. We know that wherever we go is where the Lord sends us and we're there for a reason so we make the best of it. We feel that we have been blessed to go everywhere we've been including the places that we've been deployed because it has built us into the people we have become.

I love your last answer. We had a high councilor speak a few weeks ago who is retired Army. He said he figures that the Lord always sent him & his family where they were supposed to go and the Army just picked up the tab for it :)
