Actually the title should be less than 1%...less than 1% of the U.S. population serves in the military. I just found that fact interesting and wanted to share that. A small number protecting our nation, what a burden to bear...even more interesting is that they VOLUNTEER to do so, we are an all VOLUNTEER force.
Another interesting fact, 1 in every 10 Soldiers in the Army serves at Fort Hood, TX.
Just thought I'd share those facts with you all today.
