Happy Birthday Neil!

Happy Birthday to our sweet Neil! Where have the last 10 years gone? It's hard to believe that today is your birthday and you're turning into quite a little man.

I think one of the hardest parts of being a parent is watching your children grow up. Time passes by so quickly. It seems like not too long ago they were babies, dependant on you for all their needs and then all of a sudden they don't need you at all.

We have truly been blessed with having Neil in our family. He is a such a special and unique spirit. He definitely helps us to view the world in a wonderful way that many don't get a chance to experience. I admit that sometimes I find myself staring at him, wondering who the child in that shell really is. Neil is so introverted sometimes it's hard to know what he is thinking or how he feels. At the same time, that quality about him makes him sensitive and special.

Last night just mom and Neil went to Walmart, it was so nice spending a little one on one time with him. We had a good, silly time together.
